Production Scheduling / Programming / Nesting (Fairfield, OH)

CNC Laser/Waterjet/Plasma Operator/Technician (Temperance, MI)

The operator will set up and operate Trumpf Fiber and CO2 Lasers, Bystronic CO2 Laser, Flow Waterjets, and Hi-Def Plasmas; operate overhead crane and forklifts; maintain traceability of parts and machine programming to change lead-ins and lead-outs, or minor changes in nesting.

Additional job functions will include equipment maintenance, inventory control, scrap utilization and deburring. Strong communication skills Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision Be capable of working at a fast pace without overlooking detail Skilled in Laser (preferably Trumpf or Bystronic), Hi-Def Plasma, or Flow Waterjet operation We also require a proven safe work record, the ability to use/read micrometers and calipers, the ability to bend, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds, and computer literacy. CAD /CNC experience is a plus.

Cutting Operator (Windsor, CT)

Is responsible for producing cut-to-size pieces for customers’ orders through use of company-owned sawing equipment. This function includes staging of inventory and restocking of remnants generated in the cutting process.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency in operating all company owned sawing equipment
  • Documentation of inventory movement through the use of company computer system
  • Documentation of inventory movement on hard copy work orders
  • Ongoing preventative maintenance of sawing equipment
  •  Inventory control of saw related supplies i.e. blades, coolant, hydraulic fluids, etc.
  • Regular participation in facilities maintenance with view toward safety and good housekeeping practices
  • Safe and proficient use of all warehouse equipment
  • Assisting Packaging when determined to be necessary by Production Manager and/or Warehouse Lead Person
  • Use of PMI scanner to verify correct material
  • Responsible for driving a forklift and operating and overhead crane
  • Ability to bend and climb and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”
  • Ability to make simple decimal – fraction conversions
  • Basic computer skills

3rd Shift Working Warehouse Supervisor (Windsor, CT)

Purpose: Responsible for oversight of warehouse activities and coordination of warehouse staff

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures that direct reports within department/shift follow safety and conduct rules and adhere to company policies
  • Allocation of warehouse resources for completion of orders & assigned tasks
  • Arrange for collection of finished goods by trucking companies
  • Maintenance of facility with respect to safety policies and good housekeeping practices
  • Participation in normal daily operations roles as needed; including band saw operation, staging, packing, shipping, and associated system tasks
  • Effective delegation & oversight of the above activities
  • Training/oversight of warehouse personnel and documentation of same
  • Work with Facility manager to ensure shift has warehouse supplies needed such as lumber, strapping, packaging materials, tools, PPEDaily review of systems reports in conjunction with planning & shipping
  • Communications with other shift supervisors and facility management for effective hand-off of functions and follow-up tasks

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to lift 70 lb & accurately read a tape measure to 1/16"
  • Math skills related to order inputs/outputs, material dimensions, and inventory control
  • Attention to detail, including reading work instructions for understanding and/or explanation to others
  • Organization to keep track of all the varied tasks that need review/attention
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer software in order to properly complete all order-processing steps & accurately record order data
  • Strong leadership abilities including communications, delegation, accountability, training, and decision-making
