Accounting Analyst

TOLEDO, OH

Purpose: Join a dynamic team at Rolled Alloys where precision meets purpose. As an Accounting Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. This position offers a blend of analytical work, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze journal entries for both balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist in drafting financial reports that support strategic decision-making.
Support physical inventory counts and reconciliation efforts (some travel required).
Investigate and resolve price variances to maintain cost accuracy.
Communicate with material vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
Conduct inventory adjustments and provide insightful analysis.
Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable functions as needed.
Generate daily, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports to support business operations.

Qualities We Seek:

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Strong process orientation and comfort with financial systems.
Clear and effective communication skills with both internal teams and external partners.
Solid mathematical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
0–2 years of relevant experience; some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
